What Is the Range of the MiniRAE 3000?
MiniRAE 3000+ delivers some of the most advanced VOC monitoring capabilities available on the market, whether you need it for industrial hygiene, leak detection, or HazMat response. The MiniRAE 3000 + is equipped with a photoionization detector (PID) that can detect ionising compounds from 0-15,000 ppm, rapid response times of three seconds, correction factors for more than 200 compounds, patented auto-cleaning sensor technology, and Reflex PID Technology, which allows it to measure one of the highest levels of ionizable chemicals currently available.
How Long Does a Measurement Take With the MiniRAE 3000?
The Minirae 3000 provides real-time measurement and alarms when exposure exceeds preset thresholds as a broadband VOC gas monitor and data logger.
Gas concentration alarm settings (low, high, TWA, STEL) are compared to the programmed gas concentration alarm limits during each measurement period. To warn of an alarm condition, the loud buzzer and red flashing LED are activated immediately if a concentration exceeds the pre-set limits.
How Accurate Is the MiniRAE 3000?
The MiniRAE 3000 has an accuracy level of 10 to 2000 ppm: Â±5% at the calibration point. A PID breaks down VOCs in the air into positive and negative ions using an ultraviolet (UV) light source. PIDs then detect or measure the charge of the gas ionised, which is a function of the VOC concentration in the air. As a result of Reflex PID Technology, the MiniRAE 3000 is an extremely reliable handheld volatile organic compound (VOC) monitor. In addition, the MiniRAE 3000+ features a third-generation patented PID technology and over 200 RAE correction factors integrated into its integrated RAE correction system. It’s capable of measuring one of the highest levels of ionizable chemicals available.
How Does the MiniRAE 3000 Work?
Using a flame ionisation detector (FID), the MiniRAE 3000 measures volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air with ease. Air samples are drawn into the instrument, passing them through a column containing adsorbent material. The adsorbent material then absorbs the VOCs in the air sample, and the air is then vented into the atmosphere.
