Employee Profile & a Day in the Life of an OBW Accounts Administrator

I started working with OBW Technologies in January 2021 as part of my co-op placement from University of Limerick. When I joined OBW I got great exposure and I got to spend time in all the different departments in the business. Throughout my final year in University of Limerick, I stayed working part-time with OBW and I returned full-time as soon as I had finished college as an Accounts Administrator.

My day-to-day would typically involve keeping our ERP system up to date including receipts, payments, sales invoices, purchase invoices, etc. I am responsible for ensuring Revenue Returns are submitted on time, maintaining schedules for the monthly management accounts and I also process the monthly payroll. I am lucky enough to have gained experience in ISO audits, Health & Safety, Environmental & CSR and HR along the way too.

Since I joined OBW in 2021 the company has grown massively. There were 30 employees when I started in 2021 and there are over 70 now. Being part of a company that has experienced such significant growth over the past few years is incredibly rewarding. It is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and vision of JJ & Sharon and the OBW employees.
