SPM stands for Single Point Monitor. The SPM Flex is an extractive gas monitoring system that draws gas samples from a specific location to detect low-level toxic gases using Chemcassette® technology. 
The device operates by pulling air samples through a sampling line to the detection system. The flow rate of these samples is approximately 250 cubic centimetres per minute (cc/min), with an allowable variance of ±10%.
