I began my role as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in June 2022. In that time, both the team and company has grown so quickly.

As we design bespoke Gas Detection Systems and/ or retrofit existing systems for a range of different customers ranging from multi-national Pharma to Food and Beverage producers, no two days are the same. A day could consist of surveying client sites to concept technical design meetings, creating design documentation, as well as researching and testing new device and methods to be able to provide the latest technology on the market for Gas Detection.

With the amount of experience and knowledge OBW Technologies has in the Gas Detection and Life Safety Systems space, it is a perfect environment for always progressing designs and offering the best solutions available to the client. Everyone works together throughout all departments to be able to deliver from concept right through to commissioning and final handover to the client which is satisfying – being able to follow a project through all the stages of its product life cycle.

OBW Technologies is a great place to work. JJ and Sharon have created a workplace that is enjoyable, supportive and encouraging for employees to be able to progress and learn –  and that filters down through the company to everyone. I am excited for what the future holds in OBW.
